Pacquiao: 50/50 is reasonable

Manny Pacquiao told Fightnews and Manila Bulletin on Wednesday that he has turned down Floyd Mayweather’s newest proposal, an offer that the Filipino ring hero found to be ridiculous. Pacquiao said Mayweather continues to insist on getting the lion’s share of the revenue but he immediately expressed his disapproval, putting negotiations in danger of collapsing completely. Mayweather had called on Pacquiao last week and urged him to fight him. Pacquiao said it is just right that they equally share the revenue, something that did not augur well with Mayweather. Reports have it that Mayweather is now willing to make it 60-40. Still, Pacquiao is not impressed and might very well explore other possibilities, including a rematch with Miguel Cotto on June 9. “I still believe that I am being reasonable in asking for 50/50,” said Pacquiao.

Why is he a douche? Pacquiao said it himself not long ago he will take less of the share to make the fight happen, now all of a sudden while negotiations are happening he wants 50/50? Mayweather smelt extra cash and he isnt going to let it go just like that, maybe pac should watch what he says next time before opening his mouth.

Get off Floyd's dick and maybe you can see why he is a douche. So the bitch wants more money yet he refuses to move the fight to late may where they could potential make an extra 30 Million?

Floyd deserves no more then 50/50 and is being a bitch to try and get more. I personally hope he gets frozen out.A Real QB...

For some reason when I hear 60/40 all that goes thru my mind is Roy Jones sitting in a locker room with his cronies yelling into a headset...ahhhh...the good ole days

You simply can't be serious.
Floyd is like the guy in the cartoon who keeps inching the line further and further out of reach even as the other guy continues to give ground.
This fight should be a 50/50 split as both men are huge draws - the biggest in the sport.
Floyd coming up with this nonsense only makes it look like he WAS chicken first time around, and used the steroid testing ruse as cover.Q. What is the difference between an Irish wake and an Irish wedding?
A. One less drunk.

The solution is simple. The winner gets 60, the loser 40.
If either one wins by KO, the percentages change to 75/25.

Floyd needs to bite the bullet here, he's a way bigger draw than Pac and this is proven, but he still should take 50/50 here.

Yes because it's totally better to take the highest rather than the median or mean.

Pacquiao's last 3 fights have outdone PBF's last 3 PPV buys so there goes your median and mean theory
Last Three fights:
PAC - 4.21 million PPV buys (Marquez 1.41 Mill, Margarito 1.5 Mill, Mosley 1.3)
PBF - 3.65 million PPV buy (Ortiz 1.25 Mill, Marquez 1 Mill, Mosley 1.4)
FYI PAC's last 3 fights were sellouts while Floyd's last 3 fights failed to sellout.
Nice try though

A Real QB...

I aint on no dick, simple fact here is pac said il take less of the share, i heard it and im sure you did too so whats the prob now all of a sudden his changed his mind? So lefthooker it seems like pac is dragging the line further away not the other way around, i agree that it should be 50/50 all i was saying is why say something then go back on it? Floyd hearing pac say that is like a shark smelling blood, the shark is gonna come and eat it up and mayweather isnt gonna let money he knows pac is willing to give just slip away.

Pwned!
Exactly my point. Both guys are big draws. The fight should happen and if they really want to make it interesting, do what was suggested and do 40-40 with the winner taking the extra 10. That'd MAKE them have to fight for it.
Either way, it's stupid for Floyd to hold out for 60/40 when they're both going to make a shitload of cash at 50/50 and it's not like either guy is a much bigger draw, as you would see with a no-name opponent.
