Berto is going to beat him down, I think Ortiz is down the lines of a Cintron, he has tools and can fight but being a headcase will be his downfall and I think he is going down the ruined side of his career. Berto will KO him and that will not say much for Berto either, would have liked to see this fight but then again I am glad that Haymon Boxing Office is being put on the back burner...

I think it's a toss up fight. I felt Ortiz was the better fighter going into the first fight but now after being publicly humiliated once again I don't know how Ortiz handles that mentally. When he shows up focused he's as tough as anybody. But he's the type of fighter that can check out mentally and just mail it in. One thing for sure is that Berto is the hungrier fighter right now. It should be a good fight I'll make my prediction as the fight gets closer but I gotta give the slight edge to Berto right now.

And by the way so glad to see Showtime got this fight. It'll be great for the boxing fans to have both networks competing on more equal footing to make better fights. HBO seems to want to take a tough stand this year and I hope that starts with no more showcase fights for Haymon fighters.

I believe Broner and Russell Jr. are also with Haymon. Haymon always finds a way to get his fighters coverage one way or another. We can hate on some of his undeserving fighters, but it's difficult not to give the man his props. He's one of the top boxing managers around.

I think bertos chin is to suspect and ortiz will floor him again which will either help him win a close decision or tko berto. If berto can somehow improve his chin like kirkland did then he has the potential to beat alot of guys just like kirkland does.

Actually thinking about it now i think berto will come out cautious and not get dropped by ortiz early again which will help him have a good steady fight and control the action, berto wins a comftable UD.

Berto hurts his arm in training on Monday. No word yet on when or if the rematch will be rescheduled.
