Three high school friends gain superpowers of superhuman strength, telekinesis, flight, and invulnerability after making an incredible discovery in a mysterious crater. Soon, though, they find their lives spinning out of control and their bond tested as they embrace their darker sides.
Looking forward to this one.

Wow...was not aware of this one...but what a great concept for a movie.
At first I said to myself...oh no...not another stupid movie about teenagers...but slowly...I realized what was happening...innocent new found powers...just having a little fun in the beginning...turns quickly into corruption and ego (when you realize you can do anything)...and with that great unlimited power...they become god-like...and very dangerous.
Man...that looks awesome...thanks, Laz...I'm there...

P.S. Made with only a $15 million budget...it looks much more expensive than that...although it's shot in the found-footage format...so that saves a little bit of money...still looks very impressive.

I'd probably do the very same thing those teens are doing if I had those same exact powers...I'd kick everyone's ass...especially authority...lol.
I'd start with the Mexican drug cartels...I dismantle the shit outta them...

So basically it's a loose remake of Zapped, which was a pretty terrible movie.

Sorry but, that is a pretty dumb comparison. Every movie created over the past 20 years is in some way sharing elements of another story. Last I checked Scott Baio wasn't killing cops and getting out of control and definitely did not have flight or invincibility. Baio got his telekinesis powers in a lab accident and not from some unknown object in a crater. But, yes their both the exactly same movie because someone attains an ability of some sorts

Like I said, it looks like a loose remake. They get the powers, they have fun with them at first, then they get out of hand and what seemed like a gift seems to look like a curse.
Pretty similar if you ask me.

Not even close. What your describing is the premise for 75% of all films involving Super Powers. The other 25% are movies were the Main Character was born with their abilities.
Not to mention that Zapped was a teen comedy were he accidentally gets 1 power temporarily. Hell, this movie is closer to an episode of Smallville then it is to Zapped.A Real QB...
