    Going into Saturday night’s UFC Heavyweight title fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, not many gave Cain Velasquez a chance to regain his title against Junior dos Santos. 13 months earlier Velasquez had been destroyed by the same opponent in 64-seconds. Therefore, a dominant comeback victory seemed unlikely.

    The UFC has announced that reigning welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre will defend his title against Nick Diaz on March 16 at UFC 158 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

    The bout has been a few years in the making. In fact, it's the third time the UFC has booked the fight. In the past both bouts fell through due to a torn ACL injury suffered by St. Pierre.

    Tonight at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on the Showtime Boxing telecast, Amir Khan got back to his winning ways with a tenth round TKO victory over game but overmatched Carlos Molina.

    By J.R. Zurita - Mexican boxing legend Juan Manuel Marquez scored a career defining vicious sixth round knockout over Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    It was a knockout which will go down as one of the greatest and most memorable in the history of boxing. It was quite a sight to behold alongside the 16,000 or so in attendance.
